As the wait for the iOS 10 jailbreak by Chinese jailbreak development team Pangu continues, other groups are stepping up to the plate.

A Yalu jailbreak that works on devices running the iOS 10 and iOS 10.1.1 has recently been released by Italian developer Luca Todesco, who in the past had already jailbroken iOS but had chosen not to release his jailbreak tools to the public.

Although a working iOS 10 jailbreak, this Yalu software is only in beta form. This means that it is geared toward developers.

This also goes to show that there are still bugs in it and the software is all-around unstable, which means that it could do more harm than good when not used properly.

As Wccftech pointed out, the Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak is likely to have crashes and lags. Should it be used erroneously, it could even lead to users losing their precious files and even damaging their device.

Since it is in semi-untethered form, they will have to re-jailbreak the device. In Todesco's jailbreak's case, it will expire on Dec. 29. After that, users will have to install it again.

A fourth beta version of the iOS 10 jailbreak was recently released by Todesco. He warns that like the previous ones, this software should be trifled with by developers only.

He said that it "may introduce new bugs so be careful if you're not a dev and installed b3 anyway." Brave souls can access it here.

Todesco warns that he "did not add support for more devices and may not work as-is: some extra testing is needed on this one."

"It seems that it very likely hangs on a black screen; but when it doesn't it should work," he said in another tweet, but quickly adding that it is somehow not working.

This led the developer to push out a beta 4.1 version of the iOS 10 jailbreak as the previous one was plagued with bugs.

He also suggested that he has another jailbreak idea cooking up so fans should keep their eyes peeled.
