iOS 10 jailbreak release date news update: iOS 10 beta 8 jailbreak done before full version launch; Pangu to focus on iOS 10 jailbreak tool?
Many people all over the world tuned in to the big press event of Apple last Sept. 7 to formally launch the new iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2. Aside from the company's unboxing of their latest devices, Apple also officially unveiled the last and full version of the iOS 10. With a new operating system expected to roll out in the coming days in Apple smartphones, speculations arise that a functional jailbreak tool for the iOS 10 will also be released soon.
There are hints that the iOS 10 full version will be jailbroken soon. One of the signs that hacker groups can develop a working jailbreak tool for the iOS 10 is the recent demonstration of iOS 10 beta version's jailbreaking. As reported by iDownload Blog, a known Italian hacker and security researcher, Luca Todesco, demonstrated his latest jailbreak tool he named as "valuX," which showed that the last beta version for the iOS 10 can be jailbroken.
Todesco's latest successful attempt to jailbreak a beta version of the iOS 10 is not the first time, as other individuals and groups have already tried to jailbreak the OS version's security measures and customize its settings. The China-based hacker group, Pangu, was also successful in jailbreaking the beta 1 version of the iOS 10 at the Mobile Security Conference in Shanghai last July.
Pangu is also the group that is responsible for the jailbreaking attempts on the iOS 8 and 9 versions. Just recently, the group was successful in developing the jailbreak tools for the iOS 9.3.3 and 9.3.4. However, Apple was very quick to patch their iOS versions, rendering Pangu's recent jailbreak efforts useless. So far, there are no reports yet if Pangu will develop a jailbreak tool for the latest iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak version, which is Apple's answer the iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak. Although the rumors are rife that instead of the iOS 9.3.5, Pangu will shift its gear and focus on the iOS 10 jailbreak. It is not yet clear whether Pangu can release a working jailbreak tool shortly after the expected release of the iOS 10 on Sept. 13, but it is rumored that the group may come up with the tool in October, according to University Herald.
