Apple iOS 8 Problems Plague Some Users
Apple users were excited about the release of the iOS8 update, so when it was finally available for download, millions of users updated their devices immediately. However, millions also experienced problems just downloading the software.
One of the issues that Apple users have complained about is the fact that the mobile operating system eats up too much space from a device. While the operating system itself eats up only 1GB of storage, the downloading requires at least 5 GB of storage available.
This is a problem to those who do not have enough space left and whose only choice is to delete pictures, videos and files in order to free up some space.
This problem has been particularly dominant among those who only have 8GB or 16GB storage to begin with. With the Apple devices not being capable of holding up external memory, users are left with no choice.
Battery drain issues have also been a common complaint among users. It is difficult to tell how common it is but it has been frequently reported. If we are to remember, battery drain issues were also common following the previous versions of the iOS. The trick is to take steps in order to preserve battery life, such as getting rid of applications that consumes much of the device's power.
Incidents of their Apple screens freezing during and after the iOS8 updated have also been reported by many users. Tech forums were suddenly overloaded with questions and complaints associated with the iOS8 update.
Apple users are advised to call the company support if problems persist. It's only been days since the update so we still have to see whether the issues are serious enough for Apple to take further actions to fix the issues.
