iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak release date update: TaiG and Pangu still developing new iOS jailbreaks
Apple users are still eagerly awaiting the jailbreak for the most recent iOS update, but as yet TaiG and Pangu have not yet been able to release anything.
In late January, TaiG offered a beta version for the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak, however, it was not the complete version and so users were warned that it could still cause incompatibilities with the official iOS release, and was not recommended for full use and download yet.
That means iOS users who want to jailbreak their device are still waiting for an updated jailbreak, and the wait has been a long one.
Until now, TaiG's and Pangu are both saying that the new jailbreak is still under development, and users would have to wait a bit longer.
Users should be warned that even though they are keen to get the latest jailbreak, there are a lot of fake jailbreaks circulating online and users should not fall for such claims, no matter how credible they look.
The Apple's iOS 9.2.1 update was officially released on Jan. 19 and is available for almost all Apple devices from the iPhone 4S and later, iPad 2 and later, and iPod touch (5th generation) and later.
The update featured a security update as well as bug fixes, and although the update didn't seem to have much impact at first glance, users can be assured that it was more of a performance upgrade than anything else. Many users have testified that battery life is said to have improved as well as the stability of wifi connectivity.
According to Gotta Be Mobile's official review, longer battery life was experienced after the update even when using LTE and wi-fi, as well as Bluetooth.
The review also said that there wasn't any lag in the Control Center, Notifications or the stock keyboard. Also the UI (user interface) was now fast and fluid.
