iOS Jailbreak tool news update: iOS jailbreak tool already available; list of apps released

Will the iPhone 7 users finally get their hand on the next iOS 10 jailbreak? | Apple

The jailbreak community has been waiting long and hard for the most recent jailbreak tool that would finally penetrate iOS 10. Finally, a tool can already be downloaded, courtesy of well-known hacker, Luca Todesco.

Luca Todesco has been demonstrating how he was able to jailbreak the latest Apple software, but has been keeping it from the public. Now, he gave in to the demands of the community and shared his tool. However, it is only in beta version.

This should remind all the members of the jailbreak community to not expect a smooth program since it may most likely have bugs and issues. The tool is also semi-untethered so users will have to re-jailbreak their devices in case a reboot is needed.

The jailbreak tool, however, can only run smoothly with iOS 10.1.1. This is bad news to those who have already upgraded their device to the latest iOS 10.2 version as downgrading may not be possible. On the other hand, those who are still using iOS 9.3.3 can now upgrade to iOS 10.1.1 to use the jailbreak tool.

A source link is also available to check out the latest apps and Cydia tweaks that the users can use the tool with. Some of it includes, Power Tap, Photosize, Batterly Life, Cylinder, and more. A public document is available to see the list, which refreshes consistently with news apps.

As for Pangu, the community has been waiting for their tool to arrive, but has not released it still. It could be recalled that they already announced to have developed such tool, and will soon roll it out. However, the only thing the jailbreak community can rely on is a video demonstrating how the team was able to penetrate the recent iOS.

It is now expected that the China-based jailbreak team will also release their iOS 10 jailbreak tool, but for now, Todesco has won the hearts of the iOS community.
