Ivanka Trump fashion line latest news: Where to buy Ivanka Trump's clothes

Top White House adviser Kellyann Conway gave an on-air shout-out to Ivanka Trump's clothing line on Tuesday, Feb. 9, urging the public to buy the first daughter's merchandise.

"Go buy Ivanka's stuff, is what I would tell you ... I'm going to give it a free commercial here: Go buy it today," Conway said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends."

The sales pitch was badly received by several politicians and members of the public. Conway's actions have even prompted Rep. Elijah Cummings to ask the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform to look for possible ethical violations committed by the White House adviser in order to discipline her, according to the New York Post.

Conway made the promotional statements while defending President Trump, who tweeted on Wednesday about Nordstrom dropping Ivanka's clothing and accessory line.

"My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person – always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!" Trump wrote.

Prior to her father's election as president, Ivanka was already the head of a fashion label which sells clothes, shoes, and handbags in hundreds of departments stores and boutiques all over the United States. However, following the public's negative reaction to her father's election and loud protests against his policies, Ivanka's products have begun to vanish from stores like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and ShopStyle, according to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg had also listed a number of stores which had reportedly dropped or are still in the process of dropping Ivanka's fashion line.

Belk, for example, said it dropped Ivanka Trump from its online shop and from most of its stores, but it has continued to offer the brand in its three flagship locations. TJ Maxx has reportedly instructed its employees to get rid of all Ivanka Trump signage in its stores. Online retailer Jet also appears to have dropped Ivanka's products from its website.

At present, Ivanka's fashion line is still being sold at Macy's, Zappos, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale's, and Dillard's.
