Jeremy Lin latest news and updates: Stats show that Brooklyn Nets need player soon
It seems that the Brooklyn Nets may be in trouble since one of their star players Jeremy Lin has experienced injury and is not able to play in to court yet. Stats also show how the absence of Jeremy Lin has affected the team from Brooklyn, and they would need Lin to be back sooner.
There are still no new details yet regarding the return of Jeremy Lin to the Brooklyn Nets, but if the team wants to be strong against their opponents they would need him back. When the player was still not injured, the team was able to achieve two wins and three losses during the season. However, when he was off the court, Brooklyn Nets has gained three losses.
In terms if ratings, when Lin was still present on the court, the team was able to achieve an offensive rating of 109.3 and a defensive rating of 107.4 which results to a good plus-1.8. Meanwhile, when Jeremy Lin was not able to play for the previous games, the ratings has changed immediately. The offensive rating of the team recently was lowered to 103.6 while the defensive rating was raised to 109.0 for minus-5.7.
According to reports, the coach of the team, Kenny Atkinson, was able to give out a statement about this. He mentioned, "Offensively it's just the challenges with different lineups and different stuff just getting on the same page." The coach continued saying, "But we've done it before with different lineups, so [we have to] focus in on our execution, making sure that we're doing all the little things, in the right spots and making the right pass and making the right play."
Jeremy Lin has been suffering a hamstring injury and it is still unknown when the player would be back. However, it is evident that the team will really need the player soon.
