The main point guard player of the Brooklyn Nets, Jeremy Lin, might be needing more time to heal — and that means more games to miss, unfortunately.

According to reports from Nothin' But Nets, it has been two weeks since Lin has stayed on the sideline due to a strained hamstring injury he had acquired earlier this month. The worst part is that the team cannot get a certain timetable yet as to when Lin can get back to the court.

The same report pointed out that the previous game results show how badly the team needs Lin who has already missed six games in a row now. Out of those six games, Brooklyn Nets has already lost five.

However, it is important to note that Brooklyn Nets still has two good point guards Yogi Ferrell and Isaiah Whitehead but with their experience, these young players sorely need Lin's guidance.

"Listen, I think Isaiah, for a first-year guy, really got after it defensively. Obviously, there's a big learning curve offensively. I thought Sean gave us some good minutes. So we're going to have to do that by committee until Jeremy comes back and keep getting better at it. Hopefully, the more games we play, the more comfortable they get, and we'll be a little better," Brooklyn Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson said after another losing to Boston Celtics (111–92) last Wednesday.

Whitehead admitted to seeing the previous and next games without Lin as huge tasks but maintained that he has gotten over that pressure already. The young well-performing point guard said after the game against Boston Celtics, "I mean, those guys are great players. I think we made them take tough shots, and they hit a couple of tough shots that kind of drained us a little bit ... They really just picked us apart on defense and just ran their stuff."

Unfortunately, Brooklyn Nets had another rough night yesterday after losing another game against Indiana Pacers (118–97) without Lin. They are set to face the Sacramento Kings tomorrow, Nov. 27.
