Zack Snyder is currently working on the Warner Bros.' "Justice League" movie and he has revealed that he is already at the "homestretch" of the film. In a Twitter post of his announcement, he also linked a new picture of Batman's (Ben Affleck) tactical suit and it's very reminiscent of a character from another Snyder film.

The post from Snyder said that the picture comes from the last day of shooting Batman in the new suit. Though the film already has a picture of Affleck in a newer costume, this one seems to have more plates in the armor and features some special goggles.

There is no idea how long Batman will wear the suit in the film but knowing the merchandisers, they would prefer the characters to wear a lot of different outfits so they could sell more.

Some fans have pointed out that the suit actually looks reminiscent of the Nite Owl costume from Snyder's 2009 movie, "Watchmen." The character of Nite Owl himself is some sort of Batman parody. Aside from basing his costume on a nocturnal animal, Nite Owl also makes use of several gadgets and weapons that he developed himself; and where Batman has his Batmobile, Nite Owl has a flying vehicle called Archimedes/"Archie."

Interestingly enough, Patrick Wilson, who played Nite Owl/Dan Dreiberg in "Watchmen," also had a cameo in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Though he didn't really appear as himself, he lent his voice as the President of the United States of America in the DC Universe.

There are actually rumors that he may appear as the president in James Wan's "Aquaman." The two have worked together in Wan's films like "The Conjuring" and "Insidious," but an appearance from Wilson is not really set in stone. This is just a possibility and remains to be confirmed.

"Justice League" hits theaters Nov. 17, 2017.
