Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx Dating Rumors: Seen Holding Hands and Acting Like a Couple

Is Katie Holmes, 36, dating Jamie Foxx, 47? Have they really been seeing each other for more than a year?

The rumors started on Oct. 24, 2013, when Holmes and Foxx were seen dancing at the Hamptons Benefit, a charity event in East Hampton, N.Y., along with a number of other people. Immediately after the rumor broke out, Foxx quickly denied it, saying it was "100 percent not true."

Us Weekly, the magazine that first broke the rumor in 2013, has now come out with a photo of the two, showing them holding hands and basically acting like a couple, alleging that the two managed to keep their relationship a secret to all but their closest friends.

Holmes, the former "Dawson's Creek" star, had been famously married to Tom Cruise for six years, a union which produced her only child, Suri, now 8 years old, before they agreed to a divorce. The divorce was in part motivated by Holmes' desire to protect Suri from being raised in her father's "Church of Scientology" religion.

If ever the rumors are true about Holmes and Foxx, then this relationship would be the first serious one for Holmes after her split with Cruise.

Though both continue to insist that they are just very good friends, rumors suggest that Holmes and Foxx have gotten more than friendly lately. Holmes moved to L.A. in August 2014 with daughter, Suri. There have been speculations that she has been spending a lot of time at the home of Oscar winner Foxx. Even People magazine has reported that it is a "secret relationship," echoing Us Weekly.

If true, it is quite a feat for the two to have kept their relationship under the radar for the past year. If not, then they really must just be friends.
