Lady Gaga finally opened up about the reason for her break-up with ex-fiancé and "Chicago Fire" actor Taylor Kinney.

The pop sensation got very personal and emotional in her conversation with Lee Cowen on "CBS Sunday Morning" on Nov. 27, talking about her breakup with Kinney and her struggles with fame and her career.

As reported by CBS news, the "Million Reasons" singer during the interview said: "I think women love very hard. We love men. We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don't know that that love is met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with."

Gaga continued to say and imply that Kinney may have felt emasculated during the course of their relationship.

"You know, we're not trying to make you less of a man," she said. "We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you," the singer went on to say.

Fans may recall the couple having first met at Gaga's "You and I" music video shoot. They started dating around July 2011 and declared their engagement in February 2015. Last July, she announced on her Instagram account that she and Kinney have broken off the engagement.

Gaga said that their relationship had ups and downs, and both have reached a decision to take a break. Since they are both ambitious artists who really love each other, they worked hard in balancing their long-distance relationship and their complicated career schedules. She even asked their fans to continue supporting them and cheering them on in their respective endeavors.

Despite recent troubles with her love life, Gaga's career has no intention of ever slowing down. She is very busy promoting her latest album, "Joanne." She is also confirmed to be the latest performer of the much-anticipated halftime performance at Super Bowl XLII on Feb. 5 next year.
