Lenovo Yoga 910 news, update, specs: Features fingerprint scanner, 4K display, bigger trackpad

The Lenovo Yoga 910 is finally available in the U.S. After being announced at the IFA 2016 back in August, the convertible laptop can now be ordered on the company's website and on Best Buy.

According to reports, the Lenovo Yoga 910 will ship with a starting price of $1,199 and it can go up as much as $1,899. For those who are not yet in the loop, the Yoga 910 is introduced as a laptop with a sleek and stylish design perfect for both work and play.

It's noted to come with a 13.9-inch 4K display with an aluminum-magnesium alloy case. Its famous watchband hinge allows the laptop to easily transform into a tent or tablet. Its inlay is rubberized and interested consumers can choose from the three available colors which are champagne gold, platinum silver and gunmetal.

Powering the gadget is an Intel iCore 7 7500U processor running at 2.7GHz. The RAM count depends on the model. There is an 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB SSD and 16 GB of RAM with 1 TB SSD. Both models come with 4K display but there is a 1080p full HD variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD. The prices are $1,429.99, $1,799.99 and $1,199.99 respectively.

There's also a 4K display variant with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD which is sold at $1,599.99. The most expensive model is equipped with 1 TB SSD which costs $1,899.99. Moreover, the Yoga 910 comes with a fingerprint reader for security purposes. It also offers support for Windows Hello. Compared to the model's predecessor, the Yoga 910 comes with a bigger trackpad.

There's also a battery that can offer up to 15.5 hours of life. It also features a Dolby Audio Premium, giving the laptop superb audio quality. The Yoga 910 is just 14.3 millimeters thin and weighs only 1.29 kilograms, making it ideal to bring anywhere.
