Depending on the outcome of this year's season, this may be the Los Angeles Clippers last year to see Chris Paul don the Clippers uniform.

One of the best point guards to play the game, Paul has been a standout his entire career, and he has lifted the Clippers to new heights with his excellent plays and perfectly timed passes.

Now entering his sixth year with the Clippers, Paul is 31 years old and is definitely looking for an NBA championship.

Since moving from the New Orleans Hornets back in the 2011-12 season, Paul has averaged 18.9 points, 9.9 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game. He has done so in a consistent basis that many are questioning why he has yet to win an NBA title.

At the moment, he is playing with one of the best teams in the league. The Clippers have two other superstars, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, and have a lot of role players ready to change the outcome of the game to their favor.

However, it has always been tough for Paul and the Clippers to break through as they have yet to make an NBA Finals appearance.

With that, there are some who speculated that Paul may be traded as he is now in his 30s, but this would depend on how the season goes.

One of the fiercest competitors in the league, Paul expects no less from himself and his teammates. If they appear to be in no position to win a championship, Paul and the Clippers may part ways in the middle of the season or later on when the campaign ends.

Furthermore, Paul's contract expires after the 2017-18 season, but the last year in the deal is a player option which Paul can terminate early on so he can attract more teams to take him.

With his window slowly closing, he will likely want to be in a position to win and if it isn't with the Clippers then Paul might just be on the move.
