Lucifer has never had a problem keeping his identity secret. But now that he's got a taste of the consequences of someone actually believing him, will he be more discreet about telling people who he really is?

While this week's episode of "Lucifer" saw the titular character played by Tom Ellis shadowing Dan Espinoza, aka Detective Douche (Kevin Alejandro), to try and be less like himself, next week's episode will put the conflicted king of hell back in his more familiar designer suits, and in the unlikely company of newcomer Ella Lopez (Aimee Garcia).

The young forensic scientist has always thought Lucifer was a method actor and would often compliment him on his dedication to his current character. But when Azrael's Blade gets stolen, and Lucifer enlists Ella's help to retrieve it, how far can the cheery scientist possibly stretch her false impression of Lucifer now that she has gotten herself a little deeper into his circle?

The official synopsis for the episode states that the divine blade of the Angel of Death will allegedly be used in a series of violent stabbings involving a local yoga studio. Titled "Trip to Stabby Town," the episode will also have Chloe Decker (Lauren German) investigating the case with perhaps a little help from newly appointed bounty hunter Mazikeen Smith (Lesley Ann-Brandt).

Lucifer's big brother Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) will also be lending a hand to finding their sister's blade as suggested by the promotional photos released by FOX.

But this doesn't seem to be the only issue in next week's episode since the episode preview presents a different perspective. In it, Charlotte expresses her desire to have her family back, but Lucifer insists that he doesn't want to go back to hell. Charlotte then says that it's not about going to hell at all.

"This is about heaven," Mama Morningstar says. "It's about going home," she continues.

But Lucifer seems adamant about staying and cries, "This is my home!" while gripping what looks to be Azrael's Blade.

There's also a brief shot of Lucifer, Mazikeen and Amenadiel standing over the grave of Uriel (Michael Imperioli). What could Lucifer be planning to do with his dead brother's body? Could there be a way to bring him back after being slain by the Angel of Death's blade?

"Lucifer" season 2 episode 8 airs on Monday, Nov. 10 at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
