Although Apple has yet to provide the official details of its development and release date, fans and critics have already shared their predictions on what to expect once the MacBook Pro 2016 hits the shelves. In a report by Apple Insider, the release of the new Apple laptop will depend on what processor the company decides to use. There are speculations suggesting that Apple might go with the current SkyLake processor to make sure they can release the device before the year ends. However, there are also reports saying that the company might go with the powerful Kaby Lake chipset, which is expected to arrive later this year. Whichever Apple decides to use, it will affect the release date of the MacBook Pro 2016.

In another report by Tech Times, the publication suggests that Apple will use the SkyLake processor paired with AMD's Polari GPU. The device is also expected to come out in two variants—the 13 and 15 inches.

Other features of the device will include the OLED display touch bar, which will replace the traditional function keys, Touch ID, USB Type-C connector and the latest macOS Sierra.

Meanwhile, there are reports saying that the OLED display touch bar might be too good to be true as Apple will reportedly make the new MacBook Pro 2016 slimmer and lighter than its predecessor. Tech observers believe that it will be hard to add the feature if the company decides to make the new laptop thinner.

As of the moment, fans must wait for Apple to provide significant details about its MacBook Pro 2016 development and release date.
