'Married at First Sight' season 4 spoilers news: Could the season have its first divorce already?
The fourth season of the reality TV show "Married at First Sight" is currently airing. Speculations that are circulating claim that the season may have one couple divorcing, and it's possible that the break could be between Derek Schwartz and Heather Seidel.
On Aug. 30, Derek Schwartz tweeted a photo of him and Heather dancing at their wedding. Despite what looks like a happy wedding day dance, the couple has reportedly entered a rough patch after the supposed "honeymoon period" of their marriage. Heather apparently feels uncomfortable with the marriage, and the couple is said to be undergoing counseling with Pastor Cal Roberson.
Knowing the entire premise of the show, fans can expect issues like this to pop up among the couples. The show basically puts two strangers through an arranged marriage, and they follow the couples' progress for a few months. At the end of every episode, couples are given the choice whether to stay married or get divorced.
The couples aren't chosen at random either. Couples are picked after undergoing a psych evaluation to find out what kind of partner each person is the most compatible with. The couples are going in with the trust that the science of psychology has found them their most ideal life partner.
As of now, every couple in the season has opted to stay together, but if Heather and Derek don't manage to push through, it would be the first divorce of the season.
Would the couple stay with each other for the sake of the experiment, or would they get a divorce and try searching for another person?
Rough patches are a regular thing, even for couples who didn't have an arranged marriage, Hopefully the two can come to an agreement and find the courage to stay together.
"Married at First Sight" airs every Tuesday on A&E.
