'Mass Effect: Andromeda' release date, news: BioWare to make big announcement on Nov. 7
Because of the recent rumors surrounding "Mass Effect: Andromeda," players have high expectations for BioWare's upcoming title. Though little is known about it, rumor has it that big announcements will be delivered on Nov. 7.
According to "Mass Effect" trilogy producer Michael Gamble, the game will be available on various platforms, but not the Nintendo NX.
The producer confirmed through a post on Twitter that the video game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PS4 NEO and Xbox One. So far, there have been no announcements from the development team that the game will be launched on Nintendo's latest console, the Nintendo Switch, which is also known as the Nintendo NX.
Reports stated that the game developers are gearing up for the big announcement in the following month. The game is rumored to have a 4K display. Furthermore, reports suggested that the game will introduce a new suit for the lead character. The new pathfinder suit will have similarities to the NASA astronaut suits. Many gamers believe that the suit won't be particularly for defensive or offensive gameplay since the suit is dominantly white in color.
Furthermore, players will reportedly be able to choose between a female and male character. Gamers will be able to customize their character, who is named Ryder, according to their preferences. The characters will be navigating through their way around the latest planet in the franchise, Andromeda.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to launch in 2017. If the rumors are true, the video game will be released next year on March 21. Amazon recently posted a book listing of "The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda," which is currently available for pre-order at $33.47.
The developers have yet to confirm the latest reports; hence, the reports should be treated as speculation until proven otherwise. Watch out for more updates on BioWare's upcoming title.
