Miami Heat trade rumors update: Bosh claims he is ready to play
Here's some good news for the Miami Heat and its fans — Chris Bosh seems very optimistic about playing in the coming season for the Florida franchise.
There has been a lot of questions whether Bosh can still make a return after back-to-back seasons cut short due to blood clotting. It clearly took a toll on the player and the franchise and it also led to some speculations of the two parties separating in order to move on to better things.
However, reports have surfaced that Bosh is very optimistic of his chances to play for the Heat again.
During his guesting at the Uninterrupted podcast, the forward claimed that he is ready to join the team in training camp despite not being cleared to play.
"We released a statement back in May saying as soon as I'm ready to play, as soon as possible, we'll play," Bosh said. "And I'm ready," he added.
Despite having the positivity that he will be back on the court soon, Bosh also knows that he still has a huge hurdle to overcome, as it will still be the Heat who will have the final say whether he will be given minutes on the floor.
The Heat are obviously looking to stay on the safe side as they do not want anything to happen to their superstar.
Bosh remained mum about whether or not he will be cleared but he stated his intent to remain in the league. This sparked talks that if the team is not going to play him, he may try to find playing time elsewhere.
He said in the podcast: "Will I be cleared (by the Heat)? I don't know. That's out of my hands. I will play basketball in the NBA, I'm confident."
Undoubtedly, there are still so many things to consider regarding the health matter involved. Bosh may be following his passion, and with that may overlook his own safety. On the other hand, the Heat may also be playing too safe and end up risking the loss of one of their biggest stars.
