Miami Heat trade rumors 2016: Goran Dragic may be moving

Rumors around the NBA have continued to circulate and it appears another big name from the Miami Heat is linked to a move away from the club.

A source revealed that the Heat is trying to cook up a deal that would send Goran Dragic to the Washington Wizards for John Wall.

If this is true, then it is one of the more spectacular one-to-one trades of the summer as Dragic was once dubbed as the future star of the Heat, while Wall is the name associated with the Wizards at the moment.

However, the report reveals that both parties have some disagreement with their respective teams.

Dragic has not played as expected with the Heat. With some of the bigger names moving out of the team, it is possible that the Heat is also trying to bring a bigger name who has proven his worth rather than keep rolling the dice with Dragic.

On the other hand, it is no secret that there is a problem between Wall and his partner, Bradley Beal.

Despite the two being the more talented backcourt duos in the league, they have failed to elevate each other's games and it has also not been good for the Wizards as they are still hovering near the bottom half of the Eastern Conference.

This has resulted in the speculation that the two may swap places, with Dragic being the more conventional point guard who might pair well with Beal, and Wall will be the explosive presence for the Heat.

Now given the quality and productivity of both, it is also plausible that the Wizards will want more for Wall as the Wizards' star is understood to have the higher ceiling.

This is not a knock to Dragic, but the Wizards may drop down even more in the standings if it stands to lose Wall in the off-season.
