Milwaukee Bucks trade rumors: Bucks eyeing trade with Raptors
As one of the younger teams in the league, the Milwaukee Bucks are touted to be one of those battling for a playoffs spot later on in the campaign.
At the moment, they are at 4-3 place and third in the Central Division, behind the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons.
However, many still believe that they have a lot of room to improve and rumor has it that the Bucks may be letting go of Greg Monroe as they try to move forward.
Monroe has been in the trading block for some time and now, it seems that the Toronto Raptors are interested in the power forward. The Raptors are looking for a steady enforcer underneath and Monroe is one of the better offensive threats in the power forward position.
In his career, he averages 14.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive 51 percent from the field.
However, this campaign, it seems that Monroe has taken on a different role as he has not started in the first six games of the season. His averages have also dropped to 10.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per game and his shooting is at 44 percent, the worst in his career.
Despite being a very capable player, Monroe's style does not fit the Bucks' playing style as the young team prefers to run from one end of the floor to the other.
Monroe wants a more methodical pace and has found it difficult to keep up with his team mates. This could prove beneficial if he is moved to the Raptors as Toronto can set up plays for him and he can be more effective down the block.
These are only rumors and there are possibly more teams interested in Monroe. It is only a matter of time until fans find out if the Bucks decide to deal him away or keep him as a spark from the bench.
