'Minecraft: Fallout Mash-up' update: trailer released to boast features and new content
All "Minecraft" and "Fallout" players will be happy to know that the franchise will get a new update, tilted as "Fallout Mash-up." The downloadable content (DLC) will give players 44 new skins, maps and so much more.
The "Minecraft: Fallout Mash-up" has just been announced and every player is already looking forward to its release date.
"In a flash of brilliance not unlike nuclear fusion itself, Minecraft will soon be melded with Fallout, Bethesda Softworks' much-loved, post-apocalyptic RPG series," Bethesda wrote on the game's website.
"So strap on your thickest welding goggles and keep your eyes on the horizon for the mash-up pack's radiant arrival on Console Edition in the coming days. Or lie under a table. Whatever makes you feel calmer," the developer added.
The announcement comes with a trailer to showcase what "Minecraft: Fallout Mash-up" is made of. According to YouTuber Mojang, the upcoming patch will be out for PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation Vita, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Wii U. Some of the 44 skins are said to be for Tinker Tom, Nick Valentine, Vault Boy, Paladin Cross and The Moon Monkey.
As for the maps, "Minecraft: Fallout Mash-up" includes all the usual landmarks and places in the game like the Tenpenny Tower, Capitol Building and many others. The landmarks also come with different kinds of enemies such as mutants, madmen, ghouls and many others. This implies that the wasteland has become more dangerous for the Vault Dwellers.
To make it even more exciting the anticipated DLC will offer soundtrack from the series. This will further keep the players dancing and playing as they explore the wilderness and all other places that the game has.
The game's user interface (UI) has also been revamped to give it a "retro-futuristic" approach in celebration of "Fallout's" bot, Pip Boy.
There is no announced release date for the "Minecraft: Fallout Mash-up" yet, but it is expected to come anytime soon. The price is set at $5.99.
