Moto 360 vs LG G Watch Review: Comparison of Specs - Which Is The Better Smart Watch?
It can be difficult to compare two Android watches that are both competitive in terms of design and specifications.
However, for users shopping for Android watches, it is essential to know which watch gives the best value for money. This time, we try to compare two new watches – the Moto 360 and LG G watch – and see which is a better catch.
As for the design, both are beautiful in their own rights. However, the Moto 360 (1.56 inches) is a little larger than the LG G watch (1.3 inches).
The Moto 360 is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It also comes with a Gorilla Glass 3 screen, which means that you do not have to worry about it getting scratched too easily. It also comes equipped with an optical heart rate sensor that you can use for your daily workout.
The watch wirelessly charges itself through magnetic Qi induction, which ditches traditional wires. The battery has a capacity of 310 mAh.
The Moto 360 is not waterproof although Motorola did confirm that it is water resistant.
The LG G watch, on the other hand, is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, with 4GB eMMC and 512MB RAM. It also comes equipped with 9-Axis (Gyro, Accelerometer, Compass), PPG (Hear rate monitor) and barometer. Its battery capacity is 410 mAh.
As for the price, the Moto 360 is sold at $249.99 while the LG G watch retails for $199.99, according to Makeuseof.com.
It's too early to say which is the better Android watch, especially since the LG G is not yet out in the market. However, considering value for money, it looks like LG's watch has the upper hand this time around.
