Moto X 2016 release date and specs rumors: Company to continue the line; New release coming out this year?
Numerous speculations suggest that the new Motorola Moto Z will replace the Moto X line as the next flagship smartphone of the company. According to reports, Lenovo, the company who acquired Motorola, has decided to eliminate the Moto X series from its list of products. However, new reports say that the company will continue to make new models for the series.
Moto X has been known to get premium specs and features for a rather affordable price. New reports suggest that a new model will come out this year; however, the company has yet to provide specific details with regard to its launching date.
According to Android Police, the company still has all the intentions to roll out the Moto X 2016. The publication confirms that the new Moto X Force has just been released in some markets. However, there is still no report whether the device will make it in the western markets.
"Moto X is alive and well. In fact, Moto X Force recently launched in multiple new markets around the world," Motorola said in a statement. "Moto X and Moto Z do share some great qualities, but they ultimately provide different experiences and make our portfolio more robust for consumers looking for the perfect smartphone to fit their needs. Tech-hungry consumers who are looking to get a brand new set of experiences from their smartphone will turn to Moto Z and Moto Mods."
According to several tech observers, Lenovo will base the new Moto Z to how they develop the popular Moto X. They will share some great specs and features: however, they are said to provide different user experiences.
Nonetheless, fans will have to wait for Motorola or Lenovo to issue an official statement with regard to its development and release date. Many people are expecting the company to make a new Moto X model with advanced specs and features.
