The Moto 360 having a better design makes users feel proud to wear it. In the watch market, the design matters a lot. It also helps that it is priced significantly lower than the LG G watch R.

However, the better battery life of the LG G watch R sets it apart in the competition. Although it is priced higher and the Moto 360 has is clearly more-well-designed, the performance of the LG G watch R is much better because it has four cores compared to Moto 360's single core.

With that said, if you are using the watch for aesthetic purposes, then you can certainly go for the Moto 360. If you are betting on better performance and battery life, then the LG G watch R is the better choice.
