'Naruto Shippuden' episodes 485, 486 spoilers, plot news: Sasuke faces Fuushin in penultimate episode of four-part arc
Sasuke is on his way to meet Fuushin, the alleged leader of the Lightning Group in the next episode of the Japanese anime series, "Naruto Shippuden."
In the previous episode, the cavalry made it to the Coliseum wherein Sasuke was forced to join a Coliseum match in order to gain access to the Kekkei Genkai collector, Oyashiro. However, the match was interrupted by an exploding human falling off a balcony and into the fighting stage. The unexpected occurrence did not only put Sasuke's life in jeopardy, but also threatened his chance of ever seeing the elusive Oyashiro.
However, the preview for episode 486 titled "Sasuke's Story: Sunrise, Part 3: Fuushin" shows Sasuke and Oyashiro talking about the man named Fuushin and a place called Hell Valley, which will undoubtedly be Sasuke and company's next destination.
In the light novel from which the ongoing arc is based, Fuushin was revealed to be one of Oyashiro's protégés after losing a Coliseum match. The man worked for the collector until he ran away one day with all of Oyashiro's Kekkei Genkai owners. Sasuke would then proceed to challenging and liberating the Coliseum fighters, before traveling to Fuushin's birthplace, which happened to be an island that the Lightning Group has destroyed out of spite.
There are only two episodes left in the ongoing arc and 2017 will reportedly usher in a couple of brand new stories. January will put the spotlight on Shikamaru and his adventures after the Fourth Shinobi War. The said arc will run for four episodes, as will the one that comes after it in February, that features the preparations for and actual wedding day of Naruto and Hinata. All three arcs are based on three light novels inspired by the "Naruto" franchise.
"Naruto Shippuden" episode 486 will air on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. Japan time on TV Tokyo.
