'Naruto Shippuden' spoilers: next two story arcs' schedules revealed
New details about the story arcs that will be featured in the upcoming episodes of the "Naruto Shippuden" anime have been revealed in a new magazine scan.
As fans know, the Sasuke-centric arc based on the "Naruto" spinoff novels, "Sasuke's Story: Sunrise," started last Thursday, Dec. 1, and will be followed this week, Dec. 8.
It turns out that this story arc will run for the whole month of December, which means that the final episodes of "Naruto Shippuden" for the year will see Sasuke's journey as he atones for his sins and builds a better future.
The next story arc will be one pulled from "Shikamaru's Story: A Cloud Drifting in Silent Darkness." It will cover the whole month of January 2017.
Needless to say, this "Naruto Shippuden" story arc will center on Shikamaru and his dealings a couple of years after the Fourth Shinobi War.
In this story, fans will see Shikamaru in his usual lazy self as he dreams of a simple, unremarkable life of watching the clouds pass by.
That is until he is roped into a mystery that leads him to a samurai-ran country known as the Land of Silence, where shinobis who have been mysteriously disappearing are believed to end up in.
For the month of February, "Naruto Shippuden" will put the spotlight on Naruto and Hinata, specifically their wedding as pulled from "Hidden Leaf Village's Story: The Perfect Day for a Wedding."
This story arc will be more about Kakashi, who is the Hokage at this point, as he makes sure that everyone who got the wedding invitation will be able to attend the event despite their busy schedules.
It is unclear how many episodes each "Naruto Shippuden" story arc will entail, but fans can expect at least four to five for each story to be told in full.
"Naruto Shippuden" will be back with episode 485, "Sasuke's Story: Sunrise, Part 2: Colosseum," on Thursday, Dec. 8 on TV Tokyo.
