'Nashville' Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 8 Sees Prenuptial Agreement Irk Rayna
Is there a country music singer who doesn't dream of taking part in the Country Music Awards (CMA)? It seems the answer is "no."
In Season 3, Episode 8 of "Nashville," that idea surfaces when Rayna (Connie Britton) competes with Luke (Will Chase) for the Entertainer of the Year Award during the series' version of the CMA.
"Nashville" Season 3, Episode 8 entitled "You're Lookin' At Country" will air on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
As the released episode synopsis goes, Luke and Rayna are not exactly off to a good start during the night of the awards, and it isn't just because they are competing for the same award. Rather, it is more because Rayna "stumbles upon Luke's prenuptial agreement documents." Rayna appears more irritated by the content of the documents rather than the fact that she and Luke are competitors.
Meanwhile, the already fragile relationship (or what passes for it) between Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) and Avery (Jonathan Jackson) is brought to straining point. They start out still on civil, speaking terms, but things don't go on the upswing after that.
That's because the parents of Avery have arrived in Nashville with one single aim: to show support for him during the CMA. Things start to get uneasy when Avery introduces his parents to Juliette. Obviously, with Juliette's pregnancy, Avery and Juliette will have to go through more sticky situations, especially with Avery's parents also now in the equation.
