NBA 2K15 Update on PS4, Xbox One and PC; Problems Fixed, Changes Included
NBA 2K15 received a major update on April Fool's Day. Along with it came a number of new accessories, a roster set and team colors. Update 4 made its way to the Xbox One after it was previously released on the PlayStation 4 and PC.
Among the major changes made was a fix on the issue where shoes purchased and created in the MyPLAYER Store would go back to the "un-purchased" state as soon as the gamer exited the menu.
The update now enables a player to wear a shoe with a brand after a contract is signed with the company owning the brand in MyCAREER.
Also included in the update were improvements to the player progression and regression system, which feeds into the player ratings in MyGM/MyLEAGUE.
Another rare glitch that was fixed in the same area pertained to trades that were done mid-draft that left the rights of the traded player still with the team that made the trade. Access to Online Leagues, which was reportedly spotty for some users, was also fixed.
Among the animations removed was the one for "auto-hesitation" dribbles which popped up when players were driving near defenders. In addition to this, the back court's "sprint to jog transition" was also rectified.
As for the problem in MyTEAM where badges provided to improved players were incorrectly colored, this was also fixed. The fix also extended to the "Bruiser" and "Hardened" badges which now unlock when conditions pertaining to them are met in the game.
Accessories and team colors were provided in addition to the update. The changes included shoe modifications and the phasing out of rubber-bands and, in some cases, knee pads. Team color changes were also made including Celtics St. Patrick's Day jersey arm sleeves black, Lakers away-jersey arm sleeves purple, and Cavs alternate jersey.
