'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 8 episode 4 spoilers, plot news: Nell continues to impress in 'Black Market'; Kensi facing paralysis?
"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8 is taking a two-week-long break and will not be back until Oct. 16, but CBS was gracious enough to provide fans with the synopsis for episode 3 to tide them over the short hiatus.
Fans know by now that the team does not catch a break even after suffering a blow in the previous episode, but the description for "NCIS: LA" season 8 episode 4 titled "Black Market" suggests Nell (Renee Felice Smith) will save the day.
Kensi (Daniela Ruah) is still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after the helicopter crash in the "NCIS: LA" season 8 premiere, forcing Granger (Miguel Ferrer) to bring Nell back. The previous episode showed that he made the right call.
Nell was on a roll in episode 2, where she took down a couple of suspects. For "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 4, Nell is officially back into the picture and in action. She was sorely missed, but now, she is officially back and is better than ever.
Nell will help the team nab a "notorious Triad assassin" who poisoned a Homeland Security agent. Their investigation leads them to a warehouse, which is the nest of fake purses and stolen government funds.
There is no mention of Kensi in the "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 4 synopsis. She is still in a medically-induced coma. In episode 2, as Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) pleads her to wake up, he proposes to her.
This explains why the cast has been teasing a "non-traditional" proposal between the two. It is because Kensi does not even know that the love of her life popped the question.
Her situation will certainly pose a challenge in their journey to marriage as she is facing the possibility of being paralyzed on the left side of her body.
"NCIS: LA" season 8 episode 4 "Black Market" will air on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
