Finally, the 2016 season of the National Football League is here and it kicks off with a rematch between the Super Bowl 50 teams the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos.

Their match-up is going to be on Sept. 8 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Two of their last three meetings resulted in wins for the Broncos, this includes the 24-10 victory they had in February to win the championship.

However, the biggest story at the moment is that Peyton Manning is no longer with Denver.

Taking his place Trevor Siemian who is a capable quarterback but still a few ways behind the caliber Manning had during his years.

On the other hand, the Panthers have a relatively unchanged line-up which includes Cam Newton who is out to prove that he is one of the best in the league.

According to Bleacher Report, the Broncos have a slight advantage of having -1 on the point spread.

Another good match-up to follow is the New England Patriots going up against the Arizona Cardinals. This battle is going to take place on Sept. 11 at 8:30 p.m. ET at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

Despite playing away from home, the Patriots are considered to have a slight advantage, with them having a -1 on the point spread. However, many believe the Cardinals have what it takes to get the win as they are one of the most dangerous offensive teams in the league.

Furthermore, Tom Brady will not be around as he serves his suspension. Brady will be out for the first four game weeks, including this anticipated clash.

These are only two matches to be played throughout the first week of the NFL.

Expect epic clashes with the Green Bay Packers going up against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the New York Giants battling the Dallas Cowboys, and the Pittsburgh Steelers facing off against the Washington Redskins.
