Nicole Kidman Stuns Jimmy Fallon With Confession of 'I Liked You'
TV talk show host Jimmy Fallon could have dated actress Nicole Kidman years ago but blew his chance when he ignored her when she visited his apartment.
Kidman was a guest on "The Tonight Show" to promote her film "Paddington" where she revealed and told Fallon that "I just remembered I liked you" years ago when she was still single.
A visibly shocked Fallon could only mutter "What?" upon learning that Kidman liked her.
Kidman's revelation came after Fallon told her that "I don't know if you remember this but we've met before."
The TV host remembered that his friend Rick called him to say that he was with Kidman at the time and told him that she wanted to meet for the movie "Bewitched."
"Bewitched," which starred Kidman and Will Ferrell, was filmed in 2004 and 2005 and was released in 2005.
Kidman said Rick told her that Fallon wanted to meet her and told her they could go to his apartment.
But when they got there, Kidman told Fallon, "You were in a baseball cap and like nothing. And you wouldn't talk. You didn't say anything. You were like, 'Hey.' And you put a videogame or something. And I'm like 'This is so bad.'"
After about more than one hour, Kidman told herself, "He has no interest. This is so embarrassing."
With their lack of chemistry, Kidman thought, "Maybe he's gay."
"We were not meant to be," she told him.
"Oh my God. I'm in shock right now," Fallon told Kidman. "I can't believe I dated Nicole Kidman. This is fantastic."
"You didn't," Kidman retorted.
An embarrassed Fallon said, "It was the most awkward moment ever."
Kidman married Tom Cruise in 1990 and got divorced in 2001. She married singer Keith Urban in 2006.
Fallon tied the knot with movie producer Nancy Juvonen in 2007.
