Nintendo NES Classic Edition restock latest news update: Urban Outfitters starts selling NES Classic Edition on Dec. 6
It seems like everyone wants to have their own Nintendo NES this holiday season and they are doing everything they can to get a unit. Though it is nearly impossible to get one as of this time, there are retailers that promise a possibility.
The NES Classic Edition console was first released on Nov. 11 and since then, the stocks of the console have been constantly depleted. Many retailers have already announced their limited units on sale, both in-store and online.
There are also third-party sellers that are offering the Nintendo NES, but the units come with a pricey tag. Those who have been desperate to get one have succumbed to the offer, but many are still hoping to get the console replenished at a regular price.
Fortunately, there is one retailer that has the Nintendo NES still in stock at a regular price and it is Urban Outfitter. While this seems to be a surprise, given that the retailer is focused on streetwear, the company announced that it has a "limited inventory" offer of the sought-after NES Classic Edition through its online store on Dec. 6 for $59.98.
"Urban Outfitters is pleased to announce that we will be carrying a limited inventory of Nintendo's NES Classic Edition console," says the company representative. "The highly sought-after game system will be available online at urbanoutfitters.com on December 6th. The product will not be available in store."
The only thing that enthusiasts need to know is when exactly the time of the sale is. This may prompt them to keep on visiting the site or refresh the website from time to time, according to Thrillist.
Nintendo NES Classic Edition was offered via flash sale by Walmart, but became unavailable in seconds. Other stores like Amazon, Best Buy and Gamestop have no units available as well. Urban Outfitters' offer may be the best opportunity to grab one of the consoles this holiday season.
