Nintendo NX release date news: NX will be fantastic, according to CD Projekt Red
Despite several rumors and speculations surrounding the development and the release date of the upcoming Nintendo NX, many people have continued to talk about it over the internet. According to game developer CD Projekt Red, the new NX will be great once it hits the market.
The company has been fortunate to become one of the first game developers to try the highly anticipated console from Nintendo. During his interview with Rocket Beans TV, CD Projekt Red's communications manager, Fabian Mario Döehla shared his thoughts about the new gaming device.
"It will be fantastic. As developer [CD Projekt] you get access to the hardware and everybody [at CD Projekt] is looking forward. We know things," Döehla revealed.
"It was like this in the past as the Wii prototypes came in, back then called Revolution. It was so funny that in Japan they were all very excited at the developer studios of SEGA, they thought it was very good." He then added that "the Europeans took a little longer. Like 'Well, maybe this doesn't work,' you know, because it was technically just a GameCube. It was not much more. But NX what you hear [of the developers] about NX is all very positive."
Rocket Beans TV tried to get as much information from the communications manager but Döehla did not divulge significant details with regard to its features and release date.
Meanwhile, despite little information fans get with regard to Nintendo NX, there are speculations suggesting that the device will run on AMD SoC, an x86 APU. It is the same chipset being used on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will definitely be interesting how it will turn out with all the new added features of the console.
Although it was heavily speculated that the device will be as powerful or even faster than the current PlayStation 4, the company is said to be not competing with another console.
The Nintendo NX is expected to be launched in March next year.
