While some game publishers and developers are taking a wait-and-see approach when it comes to the Nintendo Switch, some are ready to go all in. In an interview with Famitsu (via Wccftech), Ubisoft's Alain Corre revealed that the company has huge expectations for the Switch.

"The hardware really helps expand the possibilities of fun, people of all ages will be able to play games anywhere. We hope to have a wide variety of software available, but we're unable to go into details just yet," he said.

Corre also stated that a new "Just Dance" entry would come out on the Switch. There are also rumors saying a Mario-Rabbids is being developed for the hybrid console.

While Ubisoft seems to have no qualms about giving the Switch its full support, Take-Two Interactive is taking a more conservative approach. Speaking at an investors' meeting (via GameSpot), Take-Two president Karl Slatoff didn't really reveal much about the company's plans for the Switch, but he did say that they were "intrigued and excited" about the upcoming device.

Boston Blake of Game Rant pointed out that Take-Two may decide to wait and see how well the Switch performs in the market. This is actually a sound decision. If the console's sales numbers are satisfactory, then publishers like Take-Two will start to act and increase their support level for the Switch.

Meanwhile, GameSpot has reported that Electronic Arts' (EA) Peter Moore also talked about their plans for the Switch during a conference this week, and it sounds like they are going to adopt the same approach as Take-Two and wait to see how the Switch does in the market.

"We're going to watch with interest. You can rest assured that EA, as with every major publisher, is in regular conversations with Nintendo," Moore stated.

He also added that people should never discount Nintendo. "They have some of the best first-party development studios in the world and some of the most valuable intellectual property in the world," he said.
