Nokia makes a grand comeback with its Nokia 6 specs and features. HMD Global has just announced the handset, which carries lots of reasons why it should sit beside the hit brands like Samsung, OnePlus, Microsoft and others.

Following the exclusive Nokia brand licensing rights, HMD Global proudly released the first-ever Nokia-based handset in China. It is the first-ever attempt of a Nokia brand to step into the world of smartphone with high hopes that it would, once again, reign as a top brand. The company promises more Nokia devices in 2017.

"From the outset we have stated that we intend to move with speed to establish a position as a player in the smartphone category and create products that truly meet consumer needs," says HMD Global CEO Arto Nummela.

"The Nokia 6 is a result of listening to our consumers who desire a beautifully crafted handset with exceptional durability, entertainment and display features," he added.

A video was shown to boast the specs of the much-talked-about Nokia 6, sporting a premium aluminum design and the familiar "Nokia" label at the rear. At the front, it is similar to the looks of a typical smartphone, but what people need to see is its specs more than its shell.

The Nokia 6 also has a physical home button located below the device, plus some capacitive buttons at both sides. The bottom side carries the speaker, a USB port and the mic. To achieve flawless audio function, the Nokia 6 has a Dolby Atmos installed for its speakers.

The home button is demonstrated in the video with its embedded fingerprint scanner than can be used when a user makes payment.

According to HMD Global, the Nokia 6 is patterned after the beloved Nokia-quality features like "superior craftsmanship and relentless focus on the consumer experience."

Under the hood the Nokia 6 has the most recent generation of Snapdragonâ„¢ 430 processor alongside an X6 LTE modem to promise longer life and better graphics output. It also has a 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM), 64 GB of internal storage, 16-megapixel (MP) rear camera, an 8 MP front camera, among others.
