NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti release date, news, rumors: NVIDIA's upcoming budget GPU to be released soon, to boast impressive specs in spite of cheaper price
According to the latest rumors, NVIDIA will be releasing another GPU from the GeForce GTX 10 series. The latest addition to the family of graphics cards based on the Pascal architecture is expected to boast high-quality graphics specs and performance exhibited by its predecessors. One of the recent Pascal-based graphics card is the GeForce GTX 1060 and 1080, with the latter being the first in the list to be released last May. This time around, the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is rumored to be revealed this month.
As reported by Yibada, two GeForce GTX graphics cards will be released this October. Aside from the GTX 1050 Ti, the basic GTX 1050 version will also be out this month. Unlike the first Pascal-based GPUs released earlier this month, the GTX 1050 Ti will be a budget GPU card, having some of the impressive specs of the high-tier NVIDIA cards but its price is expected to be lower. Those who cannot afford the expensive Pascal GPUs can now experience the same features with GTX 1050 Ti.
WCCF Tech reported that the upcoming GTX 1050 Ti will not have any power connector unlike the other Pascal video cards. The GTX 1050 Ti and 1050 will not have to draw power from the power source of the computer as they would only use 75W worth of power to run them.
The price tag of the GTX 1050 Ti rumored to arrive mid-October is expected to range around $149. Some of its specs include a GDDR5 RAM worth 4 GB. It will have 768 CUDA cores with 48 TMUs and 32 ROPs. The card is also expected to receive 1318 MHz core and 1380 MHz boost clock. This is an improvement compared to the clock speeds of the GPUs before the GTX 10 series, and with this, the GTX 1050 Ti will see an increase in texture full rate of the card up to 84 GTexel/s.
