Fans were thrilled when season 2 of "One Punch Man" was confirmed back in September. Unfortunately, since then, no other official details have emerged. While waiting for the upcoming season to arrive, many fans have voiced their predictions and speculations on what might happen next in the story.

While Saitama emerged victorious in the first season, thanks to his powerful punch, rumors suggest that there is trouble ahead for the protagonist both in his professional career and in his personal life.

Following the defeat of Lord Boros in the first installment, new foes are expected to arrive next season. According to reports, Saitama will be facing the Hero Association's nemesis, Monster Association, led by Psykos.

The leader of the villainous group is fairly new to the "One Punch Man" world, having only been introduced in the webcomic's chapter 66 that was released last Sept. 20. As such, not much is known about Psykos. However, based on what has been revealed so far, the aqua blue-haired villain will surely be a formidable opponent. Some of Psykos' abilities include psychokinesis and Psychic Binding.

Other touted villains for season 2 include Garou and Amai Mask. There is also speculation that Lord Boros might return with a vengeance.

Meanwhile, when it comes to personal relationships, rumors suggest that Saitama will be caught in a love triangle between sisters Tatsumaki and Fubuki. The elder Tatsumaki is an S-Class Rank 2 hero, while Fubuki is a B-Class hero. Even though fans may be excited to see Saitama interact on a personal level, reports say the love triangle may possibly result in the protagonist turning into a villain. However, it is important to note that these rumored story arcs have yet to be confirmed.

No official release date has been announced for "One Punch Man" season 2; however, many expect it to arrive sometime next year. Watch out for more news and updates.
