"One Punch Man" season 2 has already been made official by Madhouse Entertainment, but there are no details as far as the plot for the new season goes.

However, fans who read the manga of the same name by ONE and Yusuke Murata expect that anime will follow the events in the source material.

This means that "One Punch Man" season 2 will be brought closer to the arrival of a fearsome villain named Garou, who is shaping up to be Saitama's most powerful villain yet.

His one punch will not do the trick on Garou, suggesting that he is insanely strong. He also appears to have the ability to absorb the skills and power of the heroes he beats, which means that at some point he could be unstoppable.

Not to Saitama though. "One Punch Man" season 2 will likely see him consider Garou's entrance as nothing but a challenge and a dream come true, as he has been waiting on the worthy opponent.

However, Saitama's confidence and carefree outlook might cost him his first loss seeing that Garou is a seriously formidable opponent.

Garou's appearance in "One Punch Man" season 2 that things will just be tougher from there, which means that the anime will deliver on more electrifying fight scenes.

With regards to the premiere date, all signs point to a 2017 launch with the fall programming in Japan already in place even prior to the announcement of the anime's return.

The 2017 premiere will also allow Madhouse to get more material to cover as they will definitely need more in making "One Punch Man" season 2, which will reportedly have 19 episodes.

With only four volumes left to feature, Madhouse will need more than that. However, if they pull from the digital series by Murata, they might not have to wait for new chapters of the official manga.

"One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to be released with a mobile game inspired by the series.
