'One Punch Man' season 2 spoilers: Saitama to be less indifferent, to fall in love next season?
In the second season of the animated Japanese superhero parody show titled "One Punch Man," the titular character is expected to be less apathetic. His dark side will reportedly be the highlight of the upcoming season, which will adversely affect his relationship with the other characters.
Reports have been suggesting that a leaked scene from the upcoming season point to a rather unusual character development. The leak showed that Saitama, aka One Punch Man, will be angry at a group of people. The character, who is usually gentle and indifferent, will find himself in a love triangle in season 2. According to reports, this hero will be caught between Tasumaki and Fubuki, the sisters who belong to Class-S and Class-B, respectively.
The older sister Tatsumaki is believed to be the second-ranked hero in her Class division. The younger sibling, on the other hand, is not as dominant as Tatsumaki, but Saitama will reportedly be more interested in her than her over-achieving sister. Fubuki suffers from an inferiority complex, reports say.
Fans expect to see the well-loved characters from the previous season to make a comeback in season 2. Meanwhile, new enemies are expected to be introduced to the anime as well. Lord Boros will be making an appearance next season, and his character is going to be stronger than he was in the past. He is expected to face Saitama. Other characters who are expected to battle it out with the titular character are Amai Mask and Metal Knight.
In the upcoming season, a battle between Saitama and Garou will be one of the biggest battles. And this time, the results will not be the usual for our titular character. Rumor has it that the One Punch Man will be defeated by his enemy.
The developers haven't announced the release date for "One Punch Man" season 2 but the show is expected to return sometime in 2017, with a total of 19 episodes.
