The latest flagship smartphone from the Chinese tech manufacturer, OnePlus, is currently making a lot of buzz lately. Rumors about its release in the United States have been circulating all over the Internet for quite some time now. The latest reports suggest that OnePlus 3 will be released in the United States sooner than later.

According to the report, OnePlus could have a US launching on June 14 as posted on a Chinese website. It will be unveiled simultaneously in China and some other countries.

A leaked photo of the device shows its metallic casing, which tech observers saying it resembles the iPhone. Some fans are also saying that OnePlus joins other manufacturers in cloning the popular Apple flagship smartphone.

However, other fans suggest that the new OnePlus 3 has a better design feature compared to its predecessor. OnePlus 3 has the potential to compete with the high-end smartphone models from Apple and Samsung.

The device will run on a Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm, along with 4GB of RAM. It will also get 32 GB of storage capacity. It will carry a large 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution. Although its screen technology is subpar compared to Samsung's Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, its other features and affordability will become a factor once it hits the market.

Meanwhile, the device will boast a 16-megapixel rear shooter and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

It was previously speculated that OnePlus 3 is not going to make it in the US market this year. According to the earlier reports, the device will be released first in the South Asian and Chinese markets before making its way to the west.

The previous iteration was dubbed as the "flagship killer;" however, it did not quite make a mark in the market. Many fans are hoping that the new model will finally live up to the expectations.
