'Orange Is the New Black' season 5 updates, spoilers: Stella plotting the ultimate revenge? Lolly returning in upcoming season?

"Orange Is the New Black" season 5 is not expected to return to Netflix until June 2017, but the plot for the upcoming season oozes with intrigue and drama. The plot thickens with the purported comeback of an old character to Litchfield.

Viewers who have followed the series since day one would remember Ruby Rose's entry to the comedy-drama show as Stella in season 3. Nevertheless, not long after, she was hauled off to maximum security after contraband was found in her bunk. The contraband was planted by no less than Piper (Taylor Schilling), her lover.

If Rose is returning to Litchfield when the show returns for its fifth installment, will revenge be part of her agenda? After all, Piper was responsible for extending her prison sentence. Nevertheless, in an interview for Netflix Asia with Singaporean blogger Xiaxue, the actress/DJ said there might not be any resentment or anger towards Piper at all.

"I don't even know if Stella is the kind of person that has that in her to go that feral and seek that kind of revenge," Rose explained. "She has a really good heart."

While the possibility of her returning to Litchfield to exact revenge against Piper is remote, Stella could get more screen time in season 5 to focus on her involvement in the maximum security's drug ring.

Meanwhile, there are talks that Lori Petty will be returning to "Orange Is the New Black" season 5 to reprise her character, Lolly. The actress has previously said that she would certainly want to be back on the show especially since her character "is very relatable and she knows that fans also want to see her back in" the show.

Still, Gonzo Army has a theory concerning Petty's return to the show, saying it might be short-lived. Apparently, Lolly should have been dead in season 4, but having made it alive, she might find herself the next victim of Litchfield's correctional officers when season 5 returns. However, if it were up to Petty, she's confident the production won't kill off her character.

"No, my ego's too big to think that. You can't kill me! You already killed what I think is one of the greatest actors on our show, Samira Wiley. You can't kill everybody in the house!" she said in an interview with Huffington Post.
