'Overwatch' update 1.5.0.2 patch notes: fixed bugs for several heroes; Competitive Play season 3 has a surprise change for Symmetra

"Overwatch" update 1.5.0.2 has just been rolled out and it brings several fixes for Ana, Sombra and others. However, players who have been expecting the new Oasis road map should be warned in advance that the patch update did not include such an addition.

Blizzard has just announced the most recent "Overwatch" patch notes on Battle.net. The update is now live on PC and will become available for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One soon; however, the studio did not specify any date.

One of the bug fixes that the "Overwatch" patch notes applied are for heroes Sombra, Ana, Mercy and Reinhardt. Specifically, it fixed the bug about Mercy so as to allow her to have the Ultimate charge whenever the players are utilizing her Caduceus Staff for the team's advantage.

Reinhardt's Barrier Field now remains activated following the hack of Sombra. Sombra's Hack, on the other hand, is now prevented from being canceled by the Sprint capability of Soldier: 76. Furthermore, Sombra will no longer gain credit for her on-fire meter especially when her EMP ultimate strikes Symmetra's turrets.

Meanwhile, "Overwatch" Competitive Play season 3 is still on and it is getting more interesting as the event pushes forward. The event is apparently different from the previous seasons as there are a lot more changes in the skill rating.

One of the biggest changes is the change of Symmetra as she is now one of the defense characters. This is apparent since her kit does not have a healing in her skill set, which is unusual for a support hero. It is worth noticing, too, that the changes applied to Symmetra can be observed at the start of the "Overwatch" Competitive Play season 3.

Aside from the "Overwatch" Competitive Play, the title has also been nominated as one of the Best Action Games in The Game Awards. It is also nominated as the Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Multiplayer and Best eSports Game.
