'Persona 5' release date and gameplay: Game could be released as early as May 2016?
"Persona 5" has already been announced by its developer, Atlus, to come out this year. However, the new installment of the franchise still has no specific date of roll out. Latest rumors suggest that it could be released anytime soon. There are even reports suggesting a May rollout of the game is highly possible.
According to N4BB, a user from Reddit claimed that the upcoming installment will be available in May. Some gaming freaks agree that the rumor could likely happen. The company has already scheduled a summer 2016 release in Japan. Summer season in the "Land of the Rising Sun" begins in May and if Atlus were to have a worldwide release, fans from the United States and rest of the world can expect the game to hit the shelves two months from now.
According to reports, some gaming stores in Japan have already started to sell merchandises related to the game. Fans think that they are preparing for a big release anytime soon. Although the company has not given any comment with regard to the rumored May release outside Japan, previous leaks of "Persona 5" definitely suggest that the muc-anticipated episode will come out earlier than expected.
Meanwhile, Crossmap reported the possible new modes that will be included in the upcoming "Persona 5." The new gaming modes will be called Cooperation and Sneak. It will be interesting how it will turn out once the game becomes available for fans.
According to the report, Cooperation mode allows players to have a two-fold quest in-game. On the other hand, Sneak mode will command players to avoid combat as much as possible to complete missions.
On a side note, the game developer is hoping that the game will provide good moral lessons to its players as they put some twist in the storyline of the game.
