'Pitch Perfect 2' Release Date: The 'Aca-mazing' Trailer Is Out; Film Premieres on May 15, 2015

The trailer for "Pitch Perfect 2" has been released, showing the world's favorite a capella group, the "Barden Bellas," harmonizing amazingly once again. "Pitch Perfect 2" hits theaters on May 15, 2015.

The trailer shows Beca Mitchell (Anna Kendrick), Patricia "Fat Amy" (Rebel Wilson), Chloe Beale, (Brittany Snow), Aubrey Pose (Anna Camp), Cynthia-Rose Adams (Ester Dean), Stacie Conrad (Alexis Knapp), Lilly Onakuramara (Hana Mae Lee) and the rest of the gang with a new rendition of the "Cups" song as the background. The "Cups" became a viral video sensation during the first "Pitch Perfect" movie.

It also gives a glimpse of the "Treble Makers" led by Jesse Swanson (Skylar Austin), Benji Applebaum (Ben Platt) and Bumper Allen (Adam DeVine).

The film centers on the Barden Bellas joining the "A Capella World Championships." The contest has never been won by any American team, but the Barden Bellas is determined to bring home the bacon.

As the commentator Gail Abernathy-McKadden (Elizabeth Banks) says in the video, "The world hates us!"

It won't be easy for the group as the stakes go high, but it looks like they're in "pitch perfect" shape as ever.

Elizabeth Banks is determined to step up as she debuts as a director for the second entry of "Pitch Perfect."

Between pillow fights and amusing one-liners, the Barden Bellas are in epic condition.

The first Pitch Perfect film, which premiered in 2012, became a hit and earned more than $115 million worldwide.
