PlayStation Plus Free Games List April 2015: New Games Launched for Fans

PlayStation Plus releases free games every month and the April 2015 line-up includes two games solely for PS4 -- "Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee-New n' Tasty" and "Valiant Hearts: The Great War)."

The two games are solely for PS3 ("Papa & Yo" and "Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments").There is only one game for PS Vita and PS4 ("OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood") and one game for PS Vita, PS3 and PS4 (CounterSpy). Details as follows:

"Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee" – New n' Tasty for PS4. This is a reboot of a PlayStation classic but with enhanced visuals, new sound, improved controls and even more dark humor than before. Help Abe free his people from a dastardly meat processing facility (who want to turn the slave labor into the latest Tasty Treats line of novelty meat snacks!), and relive why gamers fell in love with Abe in the first place.

"Valiant Hearts: The Great War for PS4. " The story of 4 intersecting lives (and a loyal canine companion) that suffer under the impossible duress of the first World War, inspired by actual WW1 tokens from the friends and family of the development team. This is a very colorful game with a devastating story—prepare to shed tears.

"Papo & Yo for PS3." Papo & Yo relates the story of a young boy, Quico, who ran away from home, and his best friend Monster, a gigantic beast with razor-sharp teeth (and an addiction to poisonous frogs!), but this doesn't scare Quico. Build the friendship with Monster by solving puzzles together and going on an adventure together through a magical, surrealistic world to find a cure for Monster's addiction (once he eats a frog, he goes into a violent rage).

"Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishments" for PS3. The player is the legendary detective, Sherlock Holmes, who will need to use powers of wit and deduction to piece together several grisly cases and pass judgment on the accused. Dare to live up to the legacy of the great detective.

"OlliOlli2": Welcome to Olliwood for PS Vita and PS4. Players need to grind, kick, jump and trick their way to a high score in the "skate-em-up" sequel to OlliOlli. Players can push their skills to the limit with a refined combo system, new modes and more. They just need to avoid falling.

"CounterSpy" for PS Vita, PS4 and PS3. This adventure game, inspired by the Cold War tasks players to keep the world superpowers in balance (as part of the rogue spy agency C.O.U.N.T.E.R.), all the while blending covert ops and high-intensity gunplay into a colorful pastiche of gaming subterfuge.
