'Pokemon Go' tips & tricks update: Ways to use newly-released Pokemon Go Plus to capture more pocket monsters
The all-new Pokemon Go Plus or PoGo Plus has been released just recently in the markets. The PoGo Plus devices aim to help the "Pokemon Go" players in their own Pokemon adventures, particularly in tracking down and efficiently capturing their Pokemon of choice. According to The Verge, one PoGo Plus wearable costs $35, which might be worth its price if the player knows how to use it properly.
The Pokemon Go Plus can be worn by the user on his wrist or place it on his belt. Without the need of bringing out a smartphone for tracking Pokemon, the Pokemon Go Plus will do all the work for the player. However, according to iDigital Times, the user must be mindful of a few things before using the Pogo Plus.
To connect the smartphone with the "Pokemon Go" app to PoGo Plus, the user must click on the "Pokemon Go Plus" button and add its icon on the smartphone's screen. With the Bluetooth turned on, the user must click on the PoGo Plus's icon to start the pairing. Afterwards, the users must note that the PoGo device must be within 100 feet radius range of their smartphone. By pressing the PoGo Plus icon, the device will vibrate if it's still connected, while it will blink in blue color if it is still attempting to connect.
Together with the PoGo Plus, the "Pokemon Go" player can go outside and start his Pokemon hunting adventure. The queue for the player is the blinking light of the PoGo Plus. If the PoGo Plus wearable blinks a green light, it means that the pocket monster nearby is the same species that was already captured by the user. A yellow light means that there is a new kind of Pokemon in the area.
According to Yibada, the player can throw a Pokeball by pressing the button in the PoGo Plus. If the catch is successful, the device will vibrate three times with lights changing to different colors. However, a blinking red light means that the Pokemon has escaped.
However, there is no way for the players to know what Pokemon has been captured using the Pokemon Go Plus. They still need to check on their smartphones to see what they have captured. Likewise, the PoGo Plus cannot be used to throw a Pokeball at a new Pokemon type, thus the smartphone must be brought out to do it the traditional way.
