'Pokémon Sun and Moon' release date, gameplay rumors: Upcoming Pokémon game to feature Pokédex and new lightning system

The highly anticipated "Pokémon Sun and Moon" has already been confirmed by Nintendo to be released on Nov. 18. The company, along with game developer Game Freak and publisher The Pokémon Company, has little information with regard to its development and gameplay. However, recent reports will certainly give fans something to get excited about.

According to the latest buzz, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will feature a new lighting technology and a new Pokédex. The reports also added that the game will include nine new Pokémon monsters.

The latest addition to the much-awaited game is definitely giving fans something to look forward to.

The new lightning system of "Pokémon Sun and Moon" is going to be somewhat new for players. The longer they spend time on the game, it will move into a different mode, which will be called the dark mode. The new feature is said to allow some Pokémon monsters to appear during daytime while others will choose to come out only at night time.

The role of Pokédex in the new title is to let trainers finish the game. This is where Rotom Pokédex has made a name.

In a report by iDigital Times, Rotom will use his skills to work with the trainers. Pokédex is very helpful as they also have the ability to know current locations and future destinations.

Meanwhile, the Alola landscape is expected to be warm and sunny. Players will only be allowed to dress their Pokémon characters in clothes appropriate for the weather. According to reports, clothes such as sweaters, pants and hoodies, which are typically used during winter seasons, will not be available in "Pokémon Sun and Moon."

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" will only be available on Nintendo 2DS and Nintendo 3DS. Pre-order is already available for $39.99. For fans who decide to wait for the game to come out, the price will still be the same.
