Fans of the Pokemon franchise are in for a treat this month as the upcoming titles "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will reportedly launch before the month ends. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise, so fans are expecting great gameplay in the latest titles.

Players who purchase the game before Jan. 11, 2017, will get a Munchlax which will eventually evolve into a Pulverizing Snorlax. The Pokemon will also come with a Snorlium Z item. The Pokemon will come with two moves, the Hold Back and Happy Hour.

"By evolving Munchlax into Snorlax and having it hold the Snorlium Z, Snorlax becomes able to use a special Z-Move that cannot be used by any other Pokémon — Pulverizing Pancake," the official website for the video games noted.

As usual, three starter Pokemon will be available to players. In the latest titles, gamers can choose between a fire-type, a grass-type and a water-type Pokemon. The latest installment of the franchise will introduce Rowlet, Litten and Popplio.

A trailer for the upcoming game teased the starter Pokemon's final evolutionary forms. Grass-type Rowlet will eventually evolve into its final form called Decidueye, which is also a ghost-type Pokemon. The fire-type Litten will evolve into Incineroar, which also has dark-type qualities. Meanwhile, water-type Popplio will evolve into its final form called Primarina, which is also a fairy-type Pokemon.

"Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" are both Nintendo 3DS exclusive titles. Gamers can get their hands on the game on Nov. 18.

Players can pre-order the titles from online retailers such as Amazon or Game. Each title costs $39.99. Gamers can also opt to buy both titles at once for $79.99. Those who pre-order the games from GameStop will receive a complementary poster.
