'Pretty Little Liars' season 7 spoilers: Ashley Benson teases 'Uber A' reveal in series finale

After tormenting the Liars for a season and a half, the true identity of "Uber A" is about the be revealed when the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 airs in April.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, actress Ashley Benson stated that she already knew about the identity of the new "A" approximately six months before they were to shoot the series finale. "I think everyone kind of knew who 'A' was before we shot the finale," Benson stated in the interview. "I think everyone kind of asked around and found out ... I'm very impatient and I love to know everything so, I had to figure it out."

It can be remembered that the final scenes during the midseason finale of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 showed that "Uber A" recovered the unconscious body of Jenna (Tammin Sursok) after she was knocked out by Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) when she shot Spencer (Troian Bellisario).

But before the episode ended, Jenna regained her consciousness and seemed to have recognized who the mysterious person was. This could mean that the "Uber A" is someone who she already encountered in Rosewood in the past.

In a separate interview with People, the actress who portrays the role of Hanna Marin in the series revealed that fans of the teen drama thriller will not expect to see the scenes that will lead to the series finale.

"I think the fans are going to be really shocked. It completely came out of nowhere which was really cool," the actress stated. "But everyone's storyline kind of wraps up. There's no way they will be able to figure it out!"

The final episode of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is scheduled to return to Freeform on Tuesday, April 18. It will begin with the episode titled "These Boots Are Made for Stalking." Then executive producer I. Marlene King and the entire cast of the series will return in an episode called "Till Death Do Us Part" to talk about the show's biggest secrets. The special episode will air sometime in summer 2017.
