'Pretty Little Liars' season 7 spoilers, updates, news: Creator teases 'Emison' as endgame? Aria's wedding pushes through come what may?

The second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 isn't coming back until April 2017, so fans will have to do with a few teasers here and there thrown by cast members and showrunner I. Marlene King.

Lead stars Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery, Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin, Troian Bellisario as Spencer Hastings, Shay Mitchell as Emily Fields, and Sasha Pieterse as Alison DiLaurentis are hard at work filming the final ten episodes of "Pretty Little Liars." Recent social media posts from the actors indicate that they are down to filming the last few episodes of season 7, which is also the final one for the series.

According to earlier interviews held by King, the second half of season 7 will answer lingering questions fans might have regarding the show that has spanned seven years. That's welcome relief to some fans who felt that the show veered into so many twists and turns along the way, leaving some vital storylines from the maiden season forgotten. Of course, fans are counting on the final reveal of A.D.'s identity.

Just recently, King posted a photo on Instagram that seems to tease the fate of one of the more famous pairings on the show, "Emison." Those who've stuck with the show from the get-go remember the infamous Kissing Rock from season 1 with "EF+AD" spray-painted on it. King captioned the photo with the "#Emison" hashtag, making fans assume that King was teasing that Emily and Alison are endgame.

In the summer finale, Alison admitted to Emily that she was pregnant. There's even a theory that perhaps, it's Emily's donated eggs, which were ultimately stolen, that Archer Dunhill a.k.a. Dr. Elliot Rollins (Huw Collins) used to impregnate Ali. Still, Emily didn't seem bothered by Ali's admission, so it will make for a good storyline if the two decide to start a family together. Should that happen, then Emison really is the endgame.

Meanwhile, in an interview with InStyle, Hale confirmed that her character, Aria, will still walk down the aisle in season 7B. This, even if there was an awkward phase in the summer finale when she watched a video of her beau, Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding), locked in a tight embrace with his ex who was presumed dead.

"Aria's getting married. I'm honestly just really curious to see what wedding dress she chooses," she said.

What she left out was if it were Ezra she will be meeting at the altar.

It seems likely that Aria and Ezra will end up together if what Hardin told The Hollywood Reporter back in August is any indication. In the interview, he said that "nothing [will] get in the way of Ezra and Aria," which probably means not even his ex will.

Will Aria end up marrying Ezra? Will things go smoothly for Emily and Alison moving forward? The answers to those questions will be revealed when "Pretty Little Liars" season 7B returns on Freeform in April 2017.
